Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information XPEERX(“we”, “us”) collects, why, and what you can do about it. We are a non-custodial crypto payment platform: we help merchants receive cryptocurrency directly into their own wallets. We never hold your funds and we never store private keys or seed phrases.

1. Information we collect

To provide the service, we collect:

• Account information — your email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), and optional display name.
• Public blockchain data — the public wallet addresses and extended public keys (xpubs) you choose to add, and the public on-chain transactions that pay your requests. This data is already public on the blockchain.
• Payment request data — the amounts, currencies, descriptions, and statuses of the requests you create.
• Technical data — basic logs (IP address, device/browser type, timestamps) used for security, fraud prevention, and reliability.

We never collect, request, or store private keys or seed phrases. If any page or person ever asks you for one in our name, it is not us.

2. How we use your information

• To operate your account and the payment-detection service.
• To notify you (in-app and by email) when a payment is received.
• To keep the platform secure and prevent abuse.
• To comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run the platform:

• Hosting and database infrastructure.
• Email delivery (for verification and receipt emails).
• Blockchain data providers (to read public chain data).

We may also disclose information where required by law. We do not share your data with advertisers.

4. Security & two-factor authentication

Passwords are hashed, traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and you can enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your account. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

5. Data retention & deletion

We keep your account data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing support@xpeerx.com. Some records may be retained where required for legal or security reasons. Public on-chain transactions cannot be deleted because they live on the blockchain, not on our servers.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise them.

7. Children

The service is not intended for anyone under 18.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; we'll change the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you.
